Xabian tech specializes in designing and 3D manufacturing prosthetic lower limbs and sockets. Xabian works by analyzing a 3D scan of the residual limb and then designing the best fitting prostheses for that amputee. Traditionally it is an enormously challenging problem, but Xabian’s 3D scanning and printing of a matching socket to an amputee’s residual limb makes the process simple, faster, and more customized.
Ben Hayward, CEO of Xabian Tech talks about prosthetic limbs’ attachment and the designing complications as well as about the psychological challenges of wearing a prosthetic.
Treating people remotely and developing low powered bionic legs are something that they have planned for the future. This is the first step in a long journey ahead in the field of biotech and something you don’t want to miss.
