Earthing, or “grounding,” describes the time spent when our body is in direct contact with the earth. Dr. Gaetan Chevalier, a Ph.D. in engineering physics and a once-skeptic of the benefits of earthing, is now the director of the Earthing Institute after having seen the benefits both firsthand and through ongoing research.
In this episode, Dr. Chevalier explains how our body’s contact with the negatively-charged surface of the earth can prevent build-up of inflammation and provide relief from a variety of conditions, including most cancers, arthritis, and diabetes. Additionally, Dr. Chevalier touches on how grounding can help to offset the negative effects that modern conveniences, such as cell phones and other wireless products, might have on our minds and bodies, particularly for those who experience electro-hypersensitivity.
