Dr. Sharmila Anandasabapathy is a professor of gastroenterology and the director of the Baylor Global Innovation Center in Houston, TX, where she focuses on two broad areas of research: understanding and preventing gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, and addressing leading healthcare challenges worldwide.
